APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO FUNDRAISE


Please complete the form below to let us know of your plans to fundraise for a fund at Australian Communities Foundation.

This form must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the proposed fundraising activity.

When your application is approved, we will issue an Authority to Fundraise Approval letter, which will include banking instructions.

Please note: An acquittal report is required 30 days after the fundraising activity. Approval for fundraising cannot be provided if outstanding acquittal forms for past events are still pending.

To host a raffle, ACF recommends the use of Raffletix. We can set up your raffle and connect it to your Fund. You will be able to customise and manage the page as an administrator. For more information, please visit the Raffletix website: https://support.raffletix.com.au/hc/en-us

Please list the names and contact details of other key people involved in organising the activity.

3. PROMOTING YOUR ACTIVITY

When promoting your fundraising activity, please include the ACF logo along with the text 'Powered by Australian Communities Foundation' (where possible). You can download a copy of the logo in PNG here (for digital use) and EPS here (for print).

DEPOSITING MONEY RAISED

Donations

Participants in your fundraising activity can make tax-deductible donations directly via our online donations portal. We encourage you to share the unique URL for your fund's donation page or a QR code to make it easy for your donors. You are welcome to generate the QR code yourself or we can assist. 


Other funds

Please note that other funds raised (such as proceeds from sales, auctions and raffles) are not tax-deductible and must be deposited into an Australian Communities Foundation bank account. Details will be provided if the expected income indicated above includes income other than donations.
